Four Months!

I know I say this often, but SERIOUSLY, where does the time go? Our baby is four months old as of yesterday. She is happy as can be, we often refer to her now as the 'giggle box' as she laughs so easily now. She is fascinated by her siblings, stopping to watch whatever they happen to be doing. She continues to tease me with sleeping all night every now and then..but most often continuing to have the one early morning snacktime. I

She is doing lots of rolling and grabbing. Avery is wonderful at pulling hair. Addie purposefully positions herself so Avery can pull her hair as she just loves having all of Avery's attention. Finn is confused as to why Avery gets to pull Addie's hair and he doesn't! Addie is always telling Avery how cute she is.."you're the cutest baby ever!"..A couple weeks back we had a playdate with some good friends who also have a baby. The baby's mom was telling him "you're the cutest!"..and our Addie interjected with "um, actually Avery's the cutest baby". Yes we are working on learning what is appropriate to say and what is not. Thankfully everyone understands that we all wear rosy colored lenses when looking at our own babies (or baby sister's as the case may be!)

I visited the studio of Keri Meyers and was happy as can be to get some 'used' baby studio items. I thought this yellow pettiromper suited miss Avery for her 4 month photos since she is a little ray of sunshine in our lives! 

She loves this slinky dog..stares at him forever (this is who she was gazing at for her pics in yellow since she doesn't find my nikon all that interesting). She laughs out loud when this doggie is made to bark or talk.

Rockin the Bumbo chair. Finn loves to have her sit in the chair "like a big person even though she's small" Funny thing is that Finn also like to take a turn sitting in this chair every now and then. Perhaps to make up for the fact that as a baby of Avery's age, he had thighs too chunky to fit in the bumbo chair and would get stuck!
