Snow!!!

It was so exciting to have a little snow fall! It really was a perfect way to kick off the holiday season!. Finn was overjoyed, it was like his first time seeing snow, and Addie is always a fan of the snow.

Candy Canes!

Inspired by the confectionary...we started the Christmas Holiday a little early! Addie is desperate for a Christmas tree..even Finn's talking about "prissmiss"!

Shutterfly's 50 free Holiday Cards for Blogger's!

Oh yeah, I'm excited! Blake and I had a family portrait shoot a few weeks back and have been keeping those photos under wraps with the possibility of using one as our holiday card...but sometimes I like just a photo of the kids so I will hopefully be able to find time to get a photoshoot in with my kids in time!
I have been excited thinking about all things Christmas and now this! My favorite holiday card company offers 50 free Christmas Cards! Their cards are the very cutest and there are so many to choose from that its unlikely to duplicate the styles that our friends will be sending out:

The calendars and mugs are fun to have or give:

(Blake if you read this I still need a Finny mug!)

And fellow blogging Mommies...this is a great deal:

Merry beginning of the Holiday season all! I am looking forward to slowing things down a bit with the business soon...just 20 family portrait shoots and I will be relaxing with the family:)!

An Anniversary and a Beautiful Day at the Park!

Sunny and nearly 70 in November in the PNW means you MUST go to a beautiful park and take pictures during daddy's lunch break!
It was also fun to remember that it's now been a year...since we got our first SLR! Its hard to believe that it was only a year, and now its become an absolute obsession, the thing that was missing from my body all this time. I suppose its a money drain, but I don't think we'll ever look back and say we're sad to have so many good pictures of the family! So cheers to our Nikon anniversary!
Scriber Lake is a fabulous place to watch ducks and catch some sun!
A little flashback to the very first day with that Nikon!

The Great Pumpkin!

We came home to hand out candy...and watch Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin...and have some candy!
I guess you can tell Finn enjoyed his M & M's! We were very careful to brush the "too foofs" (this is what Finn says when he wants to brush his teeth!) very well!

U-Village Trick or Treat!

After naptime, we headed to the U-Village for the trick-or treat extravaganza and to meet up with friends and do dinner. It was CRAZY as always, but a good time nonetheless! As always, when you go to dinner with 4 kids, very little visiting happens between adults...but the kids were all good and it was still a great time!
Finally it was time to go...Addie had been patiently waiting ALL week!
Addie's friend Hannah was Elmo...you'll never believe what her parents came as...!
All Finn cared about was the water fixture!
Slimy and Oscar!
Daddy and the Farmer!

The Farmer and the Bee!

We had a fun weekend, full of photoshoots, birthday parties, trick or treating, and lots of both rain and sunshine! I had to get a few pictures of the kids costumes before Finn went down for his nap as I knew we'd have to wake him up and throw him in the car just in time to leave!
Our sweet little bee!
Finn made the cutest farmer!
Now in Black and White!
Being silly again!
