Playtime

I love watching all three of my kids interact. Addie and Finn are always playing together, and Avery is eager to watch when she is awake...it's such a busy time, and its funny to see all that goes on in a very short period of time in our house!

Watching brother on his dump truck                                               "What's Avery up to Mom?"
"Avery, you should try and crawl so you can play with us. I've seen other babies do it, like this sister!"  (ummm Finn, babies don't really crawl at 2 months...still very cute to watch his little demonstration)
Watching intently! We enjoyed the beautiful sunshine streaming in our windows today!
So happy to be playing with my siblings:)

Snow Days!

Last week we were blessed with several days of snow. I remember looking forward to snow each year as a kid and enjoying it so much, and it seems our kids are no different. A couple of the days Blake even worked from home since none of his coworkers were going into the office. It made for a really fun week since he already had Friday off for our trip to Leavenworth!

First day of Snow...

Hot Cocoa is a must!
 Snow gazing out the window
 Day Two of snow.

We did not encourage this, but Finn snuck a couple tastes of snow in!

Addie was making a snowman all by herself! We went in for naps and the snowman never quite got finished as the next day her snowman start was totally buried!
I kept little miss inside mostly..

 More indoor play and cocoa!
And then there was a LOT of snow!

She didn't even seem to notice the cold..she had one warm snowsuit!
It was super fun having daddy home!

A Two Kids Weekend..

A couple weekends back Addie got to head to Grammy and Grampy's just by herself as part of her birthday celebration..that left us with our littler two. You don't realize how easy two kids is..until you have THREE! It was a fun weekend here with Finn and Avery. Grammy and I talked on Saturday afternoon and she reported a fun time..but that Addie was missing her brother. During bedtime prayers she told Grammy, "I miss Finny, I really love my brother"..I told Finn this story and he said to us "we need to go get Addie". We love how they love each other!

Finn is so grown up and helpful these days, truly a fun kid! He is such a thoughtful big brother, which very noticeable with just the two. Usually he and Addie are so busy playing, that he is pretty distracted. We found that he was very obedient, helpful and attentive to Avery!
Saturday Morning Bath! Loves her bathtime:)
Finn wanted to play at a park, so we took him to Bothell Landing which is conveniently located near Mommy and Daddy's favorite coffehouse..Cafe Ladro! Finn had a blast running, chasing ducks, swinging and throwing rocks with his Dad. Avery was up for a moment before deciding she was perfectly happy to snuggle in her ergo and take a nap.

Yep, I was there too! Snuggled up to a sleeping princess who loves her new ergo carrier we got her for Christmas.
