Our Three Day Weekend..In Pictures!

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend with the family..and had a fun overnight visit from Grammy and Grampy. Mom spent her weekend mostly on-call, and did manage to lose two full nights of sleep! It has been hard to bounce back from. The last time I worked night shifts I was only 25, and had only one child..things are different now! Alas, we managed to have a very good time.
Playground time in Wallingford on Saturday morning.
Little Missy is teething and chewing away all the time! Not much of a binky girl these days other than to play with and chew on the binky clip!
                 Coloring in the backyard
Saturday night S'mores and campfire
Helping Dad with the fire.

We ended our memorial Day weekend at Seattle's Folklife festival with friends...Kindie bands are a hoot, especially Caspar Babypants!

Cranky Pants

Now I know these look like happy pictures..but let me just say, they are deceiving. She has been working on several new teeth..one has cut, so we are up to 3 teeth, but she has two other open/bleeding spots on her gums that are making her just plain cranky! I guess I should say she's perfectly happy as long as Mommy holds her, which is hard since I do have THREE kids!
I know she looks happy..She just likes to smile when the camera comes out! Notice her very wet shirt from the constant river of drool she has!
I happen to like her crazy hair.

Just a Random Rainy Day in our Life

Just some photos from a rainy Thursday...Just to remember what the every day stuff felt like with the kids this age!
Getting Ready for school.
Ready to Roll. Has her backpack and Lunchbox.
Finn still loves to "cook" himself a peanut butter and honey sandwich..
 Our happy hearty eater!
A second Lunch..A common occurrence!
Tired herself out twirling on the floor.

Finn races me up to be the first to get Avery when she wakes up. It delights her to have him greet her upon waking!
Getting some floor exercises in!
Reading to Dad from her bob books.
Watching a little TV before bed..(daddy is completely out!)

A Motivational Photo..

..for crib lowering day!! Oh my, isn't she growing up fast!? She was standing here happy and babbling away.."bahbahbahbahbah.." The race is on, who's name will she say first? Addie and Finn were both about 9 months; Addie's was "Dada" and Finn's was "Mama", when they advanced past the babbles to intentionally saying one of our names!

Look at my two teeth! Finally big enough to be easily visible.
Loves hanging out in Addie and Finn's room.

6 month well check

On Wednesday, Avery had her 6 month check with dr lester. Avery is doing perfectly well and is growing like a weed. She is 17 1/2 lbs (70%) 28 inches (98%) and also 98% for head circ! Dr was pleased with her meeting and exceeding all the 6 month physical and social milestones. Avery had all her needed boosters which was sad, and she developed a low grade temp and was very snuggly for the remainder of the day, which I didn't mind one bit! Here are the couple phone pics I captured at the dr of her getting weighed, and then in her room later after being rocked to sleep and I included on happy one from the evening. Hoping my iPhone post works!
Getting weighed!
Needed her Mama
She was feeling good by the time Daddy got home from work!

Our Gardening Tonight..

...turned into water play! The kids helped Daddy transfer some of our indoor vegetable starts into the garden and do some watering..each child with their own hose..and then they had some fun of their own!

Here Finn was pretenting to put our fires in our tree!

They do help their Dad almost every evening with the gardening chores. Its such fun for them and we are all looking forward to harvesting vegetables this summer!

Mother's Day

This weekend we had a wonderful Mother's Day celebration. My parents were able to join us starting Saturday and we had a very fun-filled weekend. Mom and I did a little Mom's night out on Saturday..complete with dinner and shopping. Sunday we had intended on doing church, but Finn's continued cold kept us from bringing him for children's church. We were able to enjoy some sunshine in the backyard, and then brunch at our favorite italian Lombardi's on the Everett waterfront.
Lombardi's Mother's Day Brunch

Later on in the evening the family obliged me on a little shoot location scouting for some upcoming jobs..and Blake volunteered to attempt a photo of me with my three on Mother's Day (just not and easy task!). I found a spot I liked..and we did manage a couple of cute photos, though it is never easy to get everyone looking good in the same photo!

Sure do love my three, and am thankful I get to be their Mom!
