First Tooth!

Our little baby has her very first tooth (bottom left front and looks like the right is almost through too!)..Seems crazy how fast time is going by! Another big milestone!

 She is so wanting to be involved in whatever Addie and Finny are up to. She is getting better every day at her inch-worm move (lifting her bum and then pulling with her arms to scoot to where she thinks the action is)..and sitting unassisted for longer and longer periods! Oh, its both hard and wonderful to see the babies grow and change (especially the last baby!).

First Bite...(and first iPhone post).

Avery has her first bite of solid food while we were in San Diego. I've had a hard time keeping up with her food needs during the day in the past 6 or so weeks since she began sleeping through the night. It seems she eats all day and wants more... So we tried applesauce for two days in a row on our trip.. Not a fan as you can see by the black and white photo..then yesterday I tried with the help of her very eager brother and sister..! Success! She ate a full serving and wanted more. I will eventually take some new eater photos with a real camera, but for now, the here are some from instagram ( yes. I should be ashamed of how much I love my iPhone!)..

She's a night-bather, just before bedtime..and its quite honestly one of my favorite times of day with her..she's so cuddly and giggly all at once..and the smell of baby shampoo is just one of my favorite things!

We celebrated my birthday a day early, since it was an Easter birthday this year..I had just had a wonderful birthday trip with Blake and our friends the Visbeeks, but needed to celebrate with my kids and Grammy and Grampy as well!

Our Whidbey Easter

Easter is one of our favorite holidays, and the kids have been having fun doing Easter-prep activities in school. I heard Addie telling Finn the Easter story, not forgetting any detail, from the cross to the stone being rolled away and Jesus being risen..etc..and at the end of it she said to Finn.."but also, on Easter a bunny comes and brings us candy and stuff in a basket, I'm not really sure why, but he does"..I'm not really sure why either, but it is a fun thing. I am thankful that the kids do understand that there is a reason behind this special day, and not just candy and fluffy bunnies!

 It was a beautiful warm and sunny Easter and we had a wonderful Easter dinner with friends and family!

Yep, here's the authentic, Mommy's just out of bed and we stuck a candle in her traditional Easter morning homemade cinnamon roll because, oh yes, she is now THIRTY! 

A quick snap in the Easter outfits..wish we could have done this during the golden hour...but alas overhead sun made it warm for Avery!

Hot Air Balloons..

On Saturday evening we took a quick trip to check out a shoot location...the kids were excited to see hot air balloons up in the sky..so I made everyone get out for a couple pictures! We had fun, I do miss my camera time quite a bit. For now I am *mostly* going to remain just a member of the "mamarazzi", at least until Avery is in school..so there may be  *many* more outings like this one in the coming years so the camera can get its much needed workout..be prepared.

I don't know what caused him to hug her, and she clearly isn't hugging back, but I liked the photo anyway (truly unprompted..so loud with all the cars going by on the highway and 85 mm between us, they couldn't hear me anyway)

Yep, I'm a very annoying Mommy to have I'm sure..
