Finn had his 7-month well-check yesterday and all the immunizations that go with it. He was a little trooper and barely cried for the actual shot-giving; however last night and today he's not faring so well. He's had a runny nose, temperatures reaching as high as 104 and no appetite. Our poor guy woke several times during the night soaking wet and boiling hot. He's surprisingly non-fussy as long as I hold him and carry him in his moby wrap, so I'm thankful for that.
On a positive note, Dr Lester was pleased with how he's growing and developing, declaring him "perfect". We had been worried that he was too big for his age and she put our minds at ease that he is healthy and will grow even out when he starts walking. Finn is 23.4 lbs (that drops him down to 97.9% for weight, yay!), 27.5 in and still 95% for head circumference. An all around big boy. He also pulled himself up for the first time today and we are wondering if he will not be a crawler.

ReplyDeleteColeson started pulling up to stand at 6 months but still took off crawling ar 7.... yay for a standing boy!!
