Providence called on Thursday and asked me to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I agreed to pick up Saturday evening. Shortly thereafter, my husband was informed that he would need to work Sunday for the new chip launch. Needless to say, that doesn't leave us with much of a weekend around here.
We have decided to make the most of it, and be thankful for our abundant work. This morning we headed out for a brisk walk along the Snohomish river not too far from our house, and then went out for a burrito at Gorditos in Everett. It was a nice walk, though Addison managed to bite her lip and land herself with quite a bleeder (a warm-up for my workday I guess).
