Day 79-80/365

Day 79/Avery's first day of Preschool. Our sweet baby had her first day of preschool. She has so been wanting to attend school and be like her siblings..so this was an exciting day. She gets to attend a two day a week preschool class at Our Savior's. Thankfully since we have been going there for so many years, Avery gets to attend a three year old class, and not the two year old class. It just seemed more her speed, and given she has two older siblings, and has been potty trained a full six months now, it was just a better fit for our girl. I will admit I felt a *little* bad that she wasn't at all upset for me to leave her there. So many of the kids had first day tears..but Avery wanted to be on her own..But she was happy to see me return two and a half hours later, so I'll take it. We are proud of our independent, smart and beautiful girl. Can't believe we will be celebrating her third birthday in a couple short months!

Day 80/Soccer Star. Like seriously. The kid is a natural. Last year he did a lot of messing around on the field and really had fun, but didn't play too seriously. This year is quite literally a whole new ball game. I don't know if it's just a year of maturity, or the the UK Elite soccer camp he attended, but we were very impressed, and so was his coach. He scored lots of goals, and demonstrated a newfound confidence at handing/dribbling the ball. He was so proud when his coach called him her scoring stud. Way to go bud, can't wait to watch the rest of the season!
