The start of the School Year

We are back in the thick of the school year. It really feels like school just ended and summer just started, but here we are. We are blessed to have Addie in a new school this year, we didn't love her public school last year..and this year she is attending elsewhere and it is amazing the difference in the environment, and her attitude when she comes home each day. She comes home each day bubbling with excitement and loves all her new friends. It does my heart good to drop her each morning and have about five little girls running to greet her.
Finn has started his second year of preschool, crazy to think that next year I will be sending him off to Kindergarten, but he will be more than ready. He's ready now! He is loving Mrs Low's class and is happy to have his best friend Tommy in his class. On Monday's he gets to stay late and have his lunch at school with some of his good friends and he is loving this as he feels so grown up doing so.
They are both thriving in the new schedule and I feel very thankful for how well the fall transition has gone.

Bedtime stories the night before school...we couldn't find Addie's special book Mimi sent until the next morning..

First day of Preschool (second and final year of preschool) for Finn 

There isn't enough time in the day for naps with the new schedule..so they come home quite tired and are prone to falling asleep in the sun.
