The Fourth

We had a wonderful 4th of July this year..We did the parade and the church festival and  BBQ with good friends, and late night sparklers and wine with the neighbors. We opted out of the big fireworks as they were a bit late for Avery and Addie and Finn were more interested in doing sparklers than watching the big show. That was ok with us. It was a fun day, and we did try some fourth of July-themed photos..that were mostly a disaster as Avery was not in the photo-taking mood..

The Everett Downtown parade. On the way back one of the downtown churches has a big freedom festival every year open to the public..cotton candy, face painting and bouncy house and giant slides..! 

The Hiller fam joined us for BBQ and some sparklers.

These two are already counting the days until the fourth celebration next year. They had such a fun day!

We did sparklers..and the neighbors joined us for wine and more sparklers slightly later.

Even Honker and Dinger got into party mode..The kids had a blast putting their glow bracelets on the ducks..honker went by the name "Glow-sy" for a good while after the 4th.
