Day 169-173

Day 169/Blake and I took a road trip to Spokane for a friends wedding. We took a little break from driving to check out the sights in the George, Wa area..the skies and clouds are endless in the absence of evergreens all around.
Day 170/They had a wonderful stay at Grammy's, and we had a nice trip..but man is it good to have them back home for popcorn and a movie before bedtime.

Day 171/Our boy..He still gets tired on his walk back from the bathroom and lays right down where he is..at least he has the good sense to grab his blanket before falling asleep, he does still sleep pants-less and that would be chilly without covers.
Day 172/The sun came out..and Addie was delighted to run through the hose water as Blake watered the lawn after work. P.S. It wasn't that warm, nothing like the warm sun we had today.
Day 173/ Thank you Lord for this warm, sunny day. We needed it and enjoyed dinner outside in the garden. This is the second night this week we've done so, but the first night that it was truly warm, rather than just sunny.  Here in the Pacific Northwest we appreciate a nice 70 degree day in April.

Day 166-168

Day 166/Windy day at the park.

Day 167/Rainy afternoon. They kind of like it rainy..but that doesn't mean we aren't all looking forward to the forecasted 70 degree weather next week!!

Day 168/ "Teeth!" If this one starts calling out teeth..it means she wants to brush hers. This activity of putting water on her brush, brushing and spitting can keep her busy for  a good long time.

Day 154/365

Day 154/A mid-day park date with Daddy. This is a very fun zip-line swing that the kids all loved!

Day 148-153

Day 148/Fun day outing to the Children's Museum. Finn has asked to return each day since.
Day 149/ Sibling silliness..These end of the day-just before bed hours are very silly times for my older two. Sometimes I just don't know what to do with them at this time of day!

Day 150/She was just sitting on the couch, holding her toes and for a moment looked like such a little baby again. I had to get a picture!
Day 151/Reading to Finn. It results in laughter. Once again with the pre-bedtime silly's!
Day 152/ Addie accompanied me for a shoot! She is such a good help to me:)

Day 153/ Sunday evening sunshine

Thirty-one candles.

This past week was my birthday..Blake took the day off and we had a really great day shopping just the two of us, and then birthday dinner and candles with all the family when Addie was done with school..I made sure to get pictures with all my babies on my day. I know I should be bothered by how "old" I now am, but I just have so much to be thankful for, and just feel blessed.
Early morning presents (had to make it happen before Addie left for school!)
Avery helped me get ready for my date with Daddy
My hot date

After dinner in Everett

The kids made cupcakes with Grammy

Easter

Egg decorating happened..Finn and Addie did it all themselves and had such fun!

She so wanted to be in the thick of it..But she was quite happy to watch too. Very attentive this one.

Some photos in their Easter outfits.

This was just one of those times, her baby (clothing free baby, thats how she prefers her) just had to be in the picture, pick your battles right.

Easter Sunday we spent with Grammy and Grampy at our house. They had just returned from their Florida trip and it was good to catch up. We attended church, and the kids participated in an egg hunt at Mars Hill and returned to make dinner. It was such perfect weather out, sunny and 60's for a Pacific Northwest Easter, it truly was a gift. The Easter Bunny did visit us and was very generous with some candies, but we really focused on the true meaning of Easter with the kids. Just ask them about why we celebrate Easter!

Addie and Finn started Spring Break the very next day after Easter and got to go home with Grammy..so we got a few hours at the end of the day to spend with just this one. Reminds me of our time when Addie was this age, it was always just the three of us!
