Its hard to believe that Miss Avery has been with us for 2 months now...but it's true! She is truly a 'chill' baby and is just a joy to be around. She shares her smiles and coos freely, though she still spends much of her day sleeping. I am thankful that she is willing to take a bottle when I pump for her, and that she will also now take a pacifier at times (I had to strongly encourage it as she wasn't originally a fan).
This past Wednesday we had her 2 month well-visit with Dr Lester. Avery is thriving now that she finally kicked her nasty holiday cold. She is 12 pounds 1 oz (75%), 24 in (90%) and 90% for head circ as well (full of smarts we think). With her long body, its not a wonder why I've had to break into her 6 month size clothing!
I love to sit and "chat" with Avery after she eats. Here are a few snapshots from a recent "chat" time of ours.
