Day 200/New shoes

Day 198-199

Day 198/Thirsty. Going in to get a drink would be easier..but he likes doing this..and then sprayed Avery with the hose right after. She didn't mind or actually even seem to notice much though it soaked her clothes through!. She's used to her crazy brother. I think he was quite disappointed that he didn't get much of a reaction from her.

Day 199/Sleeping in Mommy's bed..Sorry, I know this is a repeat..but he's just so sweet..AND hot! Look at those bead of sweat, you can tell he played hard while Grammy and Grampy visited.

Day 197

Day 197/Class field trip to Mukilteo Ferry and Beach. I felt very honored that Addie asked me to be on of the parent chaperones for her first {of two this month} field trip. It was sort of crazy {though all the kids in my group were very sweet, just hard to keep track of}, and I left thankful for my calm, listening children. 

Day 196

Day 196/Buddy Runner. Addie and Finn have been accompanying me for my last mile of my nightly run this week. Addie has been wanting to run with me forever and even has a special running outfit..Finn has joined into the fun now and tonight I finally pulled out the camera after he finished his mile and a half run!

Happy Mother's Day

 I missed celebrating Mother's Day with my kids on the actual day as I was on a quick trip to Florida to visit my sister..but my family made up for it when I returned. Addie and Finn had both made lovely gifts and we had a nice dinner with Grammy and Grampy. Daddy also did a little 'mommy and me' shoot for me to mark the occasion. He took some sweet pictures and got some practice in as he is going to be second shooter on a few weddings this summer. Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms!

She tells me frequently that she can't wait to be a teenager {just so long as it doesn't mean she has to leave Daddy and I} . Oh sweet Addie, don't hurry the growing up.

Day 194/Sleeping baby..I tried so hard to sneak in and get a crib sleeping pic {I had to wake her anyway}, but alas, she immediately woke, so this was all I got before the eyes popped open.

First Beach Trip

That first trip of the spring when you finally have a {fairly} warm sun, is ever so exciting when you are a kid {or an adult really}. So we took our popsicles and headed to the beach after dinner one evening. The kids were just so excited. Finn and Addie didn't mind the freezing puget sound one bit. These images are by no means amazing..but captured our evening of play just fine in my mind.

*A couple side notes on Addie from this week. Yesterday I picked her up from Kintergarten and she tells me "Assiri wants to marry me now..I told him, get on the list, I've got options, four people want to marry me already"..Well alright then.

Finn borrowed my stethoscope for show and tell this week. Addie was remembering when I used to work on the hospital, and I asked her if she thought I should start doing that again. "No way, that was awful". It's been two years since I quit, I'm a little surprised she remembers me going at all. She says she's so glad that I am around "all the days" now. I am too.

Day 187-189/365

Day 187/Mr Cool, catching some sun in his ray bans.

Day 188/Good Morning Party. Addie and Finn have loved being the one's to go in and greet Avery as she wakes each morning. It has crept up to an earlier time..she has been waking around 8:15, but I appreciate that it is still late enough for me to get my morning kettlebell circuits! 

Day 189/We ended our day at the beach. 

Day 180/Bedtime boy (he was actually supposed to be in bed and snuck out to see momma)

Day 181/Finny and Ya-Ya (he calls her Ya-Ya, he says because she always says "ya" to whatever he says)..this turned to Finn giving lessons to her on how to jump on the bed.

Day 182/Sunny evening on the beach. 

Day 183/ Enjoying the sunny days. We really appreciate the 80 degree days around here!

Day 184/ Slip 'n' Slide

Day 185/ My favorite reader. We've been picking up more advanced readers at the library and have been very impressed with her progression!
