Westport Trip

A couple weekends back, we took a quick trip to the Washington Coast. Daddy has been working VERY hard, and we were in need of some time just to ourselves and away from it all..so we booked a hotel and took the weekend off after Saturday morning swim lessons. 

We had a fun couple of days playing on the beach and had lovely sunny weather (though the wind off the water kept it from being hot). We enjoyed some saltwater taffy, and visited our favorite spot for crab cakes (Addie still loves them, well, we all do). We had a fun suite at a hotel with a nice indoor pool for the kids and everyone slep well and we were able to rest up while we were away.

The only bummer of the trip was the air show traffic all through Tacoma and Olympia which added hours to the trip each way, I wish we would have been prepared for it. 

The rest is just a shameless photo dump ..I had uploaded a couple of the photos when I first got back.. but made myself wait to do the rest until I finished up some work edits..and I was surprised this morning when I realized how many photos I had actually taken, didn't feel I was taking so many!

 Good times at the hotel. The kids enjoyed a little downtime in our BIG room..we booked late and could only get the executive suite..They also enjoyed a couple trips to the indoor swimming pool with daddy while Avery napped. Avery pretty much slept every moment we were in that hotel..she loved the hotel crib!

 She enjoyed being carried in and out in our beach basket.

This princess doesn't shy away from a rough and tumble (and dirty!) game of football with brother and Dad.
