Four Candles.

On Christmas Eve we celebrated Addison's 4th birthday. We skipped the big party this year as things have just been too crazy busy and it didn't seem possible to get it together during this holiday season! We did celebrate with the immediate family, and Grammy and Grampy and Aunt Jacey, Uncle Matt and cousin Madeline. She was spoiled from morning (she awoke to Daddy's pancake breakfast and presents) all the way to bedtime (we had cupcakes and movies right before bed).

Addie and "the prince" ( Addie has been referring toFinn as the "prince", and has now convinced him to call her "princess" when she is in a dress)
A special thanks to Auntie Jacey who stuck with Addie and I as we spent the day cooking homemade pasta noodles, roasted chickens and baked cupcakes
Its hard to believe its been 4 years since that surprise early delivery...its been a wonderful journey!
She really felt like a princess in the crown Auntie gave her!
Uncle Matt arrived just in time for the party.
Addie loved all her special gifts and was very careful to read each card before opening a gift. She read each aloud..they all went something like this... "dear Addie, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you!"
Those who know Addie can tell she was so excited she was shaking!
