Evening Sun.

On the coast drive, we stopped by one of our favorite spots from last year's coast trip; Canon Beach. We had an awesome dinner at the Saw Mill there and then got some sun and sand time before finishing the last leg of our trip.

Silly Glasses!

Last Friday night as we were packing up to head to Grammy's house (thus the pj's for late night travel and sleepover!), Daddy pulled out these fun glasses that a coworker had sent for our kiddos. A hit for sure!

Fireworks!

We spent our 4th of July Weekend on the Oregon Coast with the extended California family. We had a good time and spent several days there...possibly more picture will end up on the blog, though I am on photo overload and wee bit overwhelmed so possible that these are all that will make it here!

We attended a fireworks show/barbeque along a river in Tillamook on July 3rd evening and enjoyed some time throwing rocks along the riverbank as we awaited the show's start:

Road Trip!

Every road trip needs a little break to stretch out the legs...we encountered some traffic heading to the Oregon Coast for the Holiday weekend, making it a nearly all-day drive. Our kids are seasoned travelers and were perfect, but more than happy to run off a little energy during our one stop.

Finn's Silly Doggie

Finn loves his rolling laughing dog...though Mommy's tolerance for this dog can be short as once it starts laughing and rolling...it doesn't stop and it's off button is not convenient. Finn had a blast getting this guy out for an afternoon this week:)

New Hat!

Our beach-ready babe! She and I had fun hat shopping at Nordy's this week...she picked out this darling Roxy hat all herself and has been wearing it constantly and even sleeping with it on her bedside table!

Our Healthy Baby Girl!!

Yep, a girl, just as Miss Addison ordered. We had a wonderful US report and experience this past Wednesday. At 19 weeks baby girl is very active and was more than happy to oblige and show her girl parts (Addie giggled hopelessly when she explained to Finn what we would be looking for to determine boy or girl).

We were just looking for healthy baby, but are thrilled to be having another girl, especially since its been 5 years almost since I was expecting a little princess! Addie never doubted that this baby was a girl...and when the US tech asked her if she wanted a brother or a sister she told her "I already have Finn (Finn was napping under Gramma's watch), I know our baby is a girl".

I had an inkling from early on that this baby was a girl...and here she is! Last week I had broke down and bought the cutest pink baby trench coat while shopping at Restoration Hardware (it is the only thing I have purchased thus far for my new baby!)..couldn't help it, too cute. I thought we would put it to good use, and if not was fully prepared to gift it!
