A few days before Christmas, we had a random snow day. It was Addison's last day of school before Christmas break and we got snowed in, so break started a day early..though it did postpone the classroom birthday celebration I had planned (I made it happen later!). All three kids were delighted..as were the ducks, and of course Blake and Grampy (who was visiting) and I as well. Always special when it snows at home, especially if it's Christmas-time!

The next day, when our snow at the house had melted, we went in pursuit of snow..but sadly there was very little at the snoqualmie pass, it was mostly slush and big puddles, a big disappointment to our crew hoping to sled the day away.
