Day 42

By the light of the tree, I watched as  Miss Avery took a self-portrait with my iPhone..Yes, even 12 month-olds know how to work a cell phone these days. Avery and I have enjoyed an afternoon and evening to ourselves while the older kids are with Grammy and Grampy for the night..sure is quiet with just one baby around!

Halloween

The kids had such a blast on Halloween. After Daddy got off work, we took a few pictures on the porch before the daylight was completely gone..and headed to our friends the Hiller's for dinner and trick-or-treating. It was a blast. Avery insisted on walking the whole neighborhood which was slow-going, but we already knew we had one determined bumble bee on our hands!

She's a Walker (from a few months back!)

I am working on cleaning up my computer and was going through Lightroom and found these photos from when Avery first started walking..So clearly they are old, but I wanted to be sure they were included in our blog book! 

She had been threatening to walk for quite some time before actually taking off, but for some reason when she finally was a "walker" and not just taking steps here and there, I freaked out a little..It happens, right? So I did a photo session, capturing her at that stage . 

Day 41

Hot Cocoa by the tree..Poor Finn is still under the weather and was very sad to miss school today.

Day 40

Two sick kids in the house (Addie is our healthy photographer)..Finn visited the pediatrician for what turned out to be a bilateral ear infection (the left ear being pretty bad) and the start of pneumonia. My poor guy! 

Day 39

We went out to the tree farm..Miss Avery had serious attitude about her hat tonight.

Day 38

We visited the snow for Christmas pictures.. (posting a day late)..

Day 37

Daddy is putting in new floors with Grampy...so we did our best to stay out of the way with the help of Grammy too..Watching a little Fireman Sam upstairs.

Day 36

Our last morning in California..Avery at Papa's piano. We are home safe and sound.

We're leaving on a jet plane....Back next week!

Day 34

An early morning for this one..as with all kids these days, she loves an iPhone and knows just how to work it! For the most part she's a wonderful sleeper, sleeping from 6pm ish..to 8:30ish..but today, an early before 8 am wake time! At least she's bright-eyed and happy.

Day 33

Gramma, Grampy and Bella came to visit and help out while I worked today..Such a blessing to us all! The kids all so love this doggie and she is very patient with them. It's super cute the way Avery communicates with Bella in a growl..she just loves dogs!
