Mimi wanted to take Addison roller skating for her first time today. Addison loved it and did very well!

Finn and I didn't skate, but Finn really enjoyed the music. Our boy knows how to dance! He also enjoyed some snacks and of course showing off his walking!

Early Birthday Celebration

We did a little celebration for Finn today while Mimi was here. Cupcakes and presents!! Our boy has no problem putting away a cupcake...

I have been a bit short on time lately...so this aquarium was actually last Saturday's fun event!

Talkin and Walkin!

Little Finn was feeling much better tonight following the appearance of two new teeth, #7 and 8. He was busy running around the kitchen and feeling quite pleased with himself. Addison continues to be a proud sister, "oh good job Finny, you can walk by yourself", though tonight he kept wanting to walk over at pull her hair.

He's added a couple new words in the past weeks, "this" and "good" (usually we get "mmmm, good").

I should upload the walking videos...but alas it takes FOREVER. I can't seem to get a decent photo, as he is usually headed straight for me!

He took a nice long pause contemplating his next move, not sure he wanted the couch...

Sunday Night with Friends

We were lucky to have the Dobelsteins join us for Sunday dinner. Aaden and Finn are pretty close in age, and its fun to watch the boys interact. We had a great time visiting, and needless to say, the kids kept themselves quite busy!

Breaking out of the House!

We had to sneak out for couple quick outings as we were all stir crazy from the kids being sick. It was just so beautiful outside this week, and Addie wanted to show Finny her playhouse, and make him a hotdog on her grill. Then on Wednesday we snuck out to have lunch with Blake at the park.

Birthday Party

On Saturday we attended Michaela's 3rd birthday party. Addie and Michaela are just a week apart in age born on Christmas Eve and New Years. We've watched them grow up together since they were in the womb. It was so fun to help celebrate this 3rd birthday!
Blake made an appearance as 'big bear' in my cousin's costume, per Michaela's request.

River Walk

We headed down the street for a stroller walk before my crazy night at the hospital. We are lucky to have access to walk along the river, just a 2 minute drive away. We let the kids out to stretch their legs at the end of our walk and I of course took a few pics.

Washington Rain!

We were in the middle of a torrential downpour and feeling house-bound when Addie reminded me she has an umbrella and rain boots. I let her run around in the yard, and Finn spent his time on the porch cruising and wistfully watching sister in the rain. I am thankful for my zoom lens today as though I have lived here all my life, sometimes I just don't care for the rain!

Big Boy in the Bath

Our little man continues to be such a delight. On Tuesday we once again had the "oh no, he's walking scare" when he walked across the living room twice in a row....and then went right back to happily cruising. His cruising knows no limits at this point. I'll turn around for a brief moment and he'll have scaled the walls and gotten into the fridge, or the toilet, or a garbage can...He keeps me on my toes! He also added a new word this week, "bottle", so sweet to hear!

Play Day.

Addison and Finn got to play with the Pardue boys today. Its always busy when there are four kids in the house. Finn was a bit clingy to me today, which was new. He kept coming over to me, "Mah Mah!" and reaching for me to pick him up. He was so sweet and snuggly, I realize how much I miss him wanting me.
