The Last One's..

Since our little angel was so polite as to give fair warning that she was coming...I had Blake take a couple last pics to show just how big I got. This is the day before Miss Avery arrived. Finn asked me if I was going running since I was wearing running shorts...silly boy!

Baby Shower

Early October brought a baby shower for our little princess hosted by my good friends Alainna and Sheila.  I was very blessed to have so many friends and family welcoming our new arrival. It was a beautiful shower with good friends and food. The guest even made a set of alphabet blocks as our party activity that will be Miss Avery's when she gets a little older.

Avery Claire

Just a quick note to say that Miss Avery has arrived. We feel very blessed that she is here and that she arrived safely at 36 weeks gestation.  She was born at home and we are enjoying these early days with her.

Avery Claire, born November 6th (Blake's birthday!) at 12:55pm, 7 lb 6 oz 21 inches.

Fall Color!

While we were out to pick up a few things at the U-Village a couple weekends back, we had a quick stop into some beautiful fall leaves. I hadn't been up much as I was sticking to the lightest of activity, so it was a wonderful change of pace for all to be out for a short bit (though we were careful to not do much walking for baby sister's sake!)..

Pumpkin carving with Dad

Addie and Finn had a wonderful evening of carving pumpkins with their Daddy last month. Blake is quite good with the carving and the kids had a blast assisting. Addie requested an owl, and Finn a frog!

Our resourceful little Man

I am obviously doing a little catch up here...but Finn over the past couple months has demonstrated his love for cooking..as well as doing everything all by himself. Here he is showing how he can make his own peanut butter and honey sandwich. He scoots that chair to the pantry to get the bread, get the PB out of the fridge and then scoots his chair to the counter where we keep the honey jar. He makes a pretty good sandwhich. Addie prefers Finn to make hers as he uses more honey than Mom does! He is also showing how though he has been potty trained for some time now...he still has not mastered putting his underwear and pants back on..we're working on it!

Finn at Grampas

Had to add this one of Finn in Grampa's truck! He just loves to practice driving and Grampa's truck is a favorite of his!
